I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what

I can and cannot do. I don't go for a post-op visit

for 4 weeks which is quiet alot of time. I am now on

my 14th day and feeling pretty good. We have been

walking a little bit everyday and I can make it about

1/2 mile. Bending is still annoying. I was wondering

what kind of exercise that is low impact I can begin

doing now. I am used to being very active so I am

going stir crazy. I was thinking about water aerobics.

It is fairly inexpensive and could be fun. Any other

suggestions? I am glad to hear so many of us have come

through our ab myos with success.

Hey Becky,

My Dr. advised only walking for the first 4 weeks and no swimming

until 6 weeks. Definitely, NO lifting. Just hang in there and let

your body heal....... ....maybe try walking further. At my 4 week

appointment, I was told I could do anything (except swim) I just

needed to start it all out slowly and build up.
