Guest guest Posted March 21, 2004 Report Share Posted March 21, 2004 Hi all! Three of us from the DC/MD area met up yesterday in Clarendon (Arlington), VA and it was GREAT! It was wonderful to meet and and share our stories. It's so interesting how many parallel experiences we have had...and not just having to do with fibroids either . Kudos to for being persistent in making sure the meetup happened even though we didn't have the magic 5 number. We are planning to meet up again next month, so I hope those of you all in the DC/Baltimore area will come out of hiding and join us! I am a new member that is seeking a doctor to perform a myo on me for very large fibroids. I was referred to Dr. Marlow in DC who has performed numerous myos but uses no insurance companies in his practice. Would your MD/DC group refer me to a few physicians for a myo.
