Guest guest
Hi Francesca Well I'm just into week 7 post-myo and in week 3 I was still walking very slowly and getting pains especially in the evening. In fact I'm still getting pains but it's because I also suffer from IBS. I would strongly advise you to go and see your GP- it's much better to get checked out rather than worry that something could be wrong. Remember not to lift anything heavy, do housework, bend too much or drive for 6-8 weeks. I think in US they allow you to drive after 2 weeks which seems much to soon to me- in UK it's 6 weeks- it's unlikely you'll have the strength to drive until after 6 weeks if you've had abdominal surgery- especially if you needed to do an emergency stop! Guest guest
Just want to stress don't lift anything. I made the mistake of lifting something really heavy yesterday because my obsession on something overruled my common sense. I have been having weird pains all day. I don't think it is serious since I don't have a fever, but I definitely think I strained something. rest rest and when in doubt Call your doctor. From someone who doesn't always take her own advice. ;-) Debbie > Hi Francesca > Well I'm just into week 7 post-myo and in week 3 I was > still walking very slowly and getting pains especially > in the evening.
