Guest guest
Yeah!!! It is over. The gas pains only last a few days. Try cough drops for the sore throat. I don't remember who recommended them on this post, but they were my life saver. I started popping them the minute I was in my room. Wishing you a speed recovery! Guest guest
Hey all! Just a quick post. I am also recovering from my myo on Wednesday. Unfortunately, my broids turned into so many tiny ones they couldn't get them all. Until last night I was doing fine but since then I have been bleeding and have been very nervous. I called the on-call doctor today and he told me to watch it and if it got worse call my doc tomorrow. What do all of you think? I just want tomorrow to get here. I am not in alot of pain and have been moving around pretty well. I didn't have any staples so no worries there just this darn bleeding. Thanks for the thoughts. Becky P.S. If you do have any response direct them to me...I just don't have the strength yet to check to much mail. Sending good thoughts to everyone. Guest guest
Hi Becky, Yes, bleeding is scary! I don't know why doctors bother with on-call doctors. All they ever advise is either to go to an emergency room or wait until your doctor is in. *sigh* Since it's nearly " tomorrow " now, I'd say wait unless the bleeding's very heavy, or you have signs of infection (fever, etc) Is it possible you have youur period? I don't think it's unusual to have some bleeding on and off after a myo, but it depends how heavy it is. Let us know what your doctor says, and hang in there! -Mindy I am also recovering from my myo on Wednesday. Guest guest
Pam, So you are on the recovery road, great news! All you need are lots of rest and pampering. As for this Friday, you never know. I had my staples removed the second day of the surgery, and it did not hurt. The doctor laughed at me because I was so scared that it hurt. Maybe it will not hurt this time for your. Best of lucks. Jackie Post Abdomen Myo I'm getting around OK just hate the feeling that the staples are gonna pop out at any moment. I got this Friday to get them removed and I'm not looking forward to that. Last time I had them removed it hurt like crazy. Everyone told me it wouldn't and it did.
