Guest guest
Hi all, small recap of my situation: was diagnoced with fibroids 2 1/2 years ago and I was in wait and see mode until lasgt Jan. 2 week ago I had a hysteroscopy (they look inside your uterus, through your vagina, with small camera). I asked for and received exam results: in addition of this known 8x10 cm fibroids in the top/back of my uterus, a much bigger one was found in the center of it. It actually goes down my cervix and prevented a complete exam to be done. Conclusion: hyst !! Even if I knew that this was a possible way of action, I had been trying to not have a hyst. But it seams (and I'll know more tomorrow when I see my doctor) that it is the way to go. I was told that when fibroids are too big, uterus becomes so difformed that resewing it together is almost impossible. Anyhow, I'll speak with my doctor tomorrow and I'll have his full explanation.
