FIBROID QUESTION PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone, Can someone please help me? I am so depressed and tired.

Background: I had an abdominal myo in August 2002. 23 fibroids were

successfully removed. The surgeon told me he had gotten them all. Between

August 2002 and July 2003 I had 20 ultrasounds (for IVF). none of them showed

any abnormalities. In August 2003 I had a pelvic exam. The doctor said my

uterus was perfect. The problem is my new gynecologist. When I told him i

had 23 fibroids, he asked me why I didn't have a hysterectomy. He insisted

that I had fibroids because it is impossible to remove all of them. I had an

ultrasound. His lab tech said I had 2 or 3 fibroids.

My question: HOW FAST DO THEY GROW? i DON'T THINK MY SURGEON MISREADead THE

ULTRASOUNDS.

I'm so upset because my gynecologist believes in hysterectomies. Any comments

are appreciated. Thank you. Vickie
