Wednesday morning I didn't have to go in to work and there on WCAU (the local Philadelphia NBC affiliate) was a commercial for Dr. Worthington-Kirsch. He is an interventional radiologist who is very active on the Embo group. Although it is an advertisement for one specific doctor, I think it is a good thing because it brings fibroids and alternative treatments out into the open. Also, I noticed on ER tonight they have introduced a new character who is an interventional radiologist. Maybe they will manage to work in a fibroid story that does not end in hysterectomy. P.
