Guest guest
Suz, I tried red raspberry tablets, not tea a while back to help control heavy bleeding, pain from fibroids. I took them for about 2 months, but saw no relief. I don't know if I should have given it more time, but for me I didn't feel that any alternative products were going to work since my fibroids were submucosal/intramural. Guest guest
Hi Suz, The new MD I saw last night is into herbs, etc. and she recommended Raspberry tea for me. I am drinking it now and have been all morning. Seems to help as far as I can tell. She also told me about Prim Rose Oil and Dong Quai. a
Guest guest
Suz- Are you saying you notice the tea also results in shorter, lighter periods for you? Guest guest
Ginger works excellent not tablets the actual ginger itself use as a tea Also black or blue cohosh is highly recomended MLic975220@... wrote:Suz, I tried red raspberry tablets, not tea a while back to help control heavy bleeding, pain from fibroids. Guest guest
Hi , Mine are intramural too. The pain I have is likely an adhesion caused by ectopic surgery, but I swear the tea makes a huge difference for my discomfort which was significant during the time I forgot the RRL tea routine. best, suz > I don't know if I should have given it more time, but for me I didn't feel that any alternative products were going to work since my fibroids were submucosal/intramural. Guest guest
Yes , It was pretty dramatic. Mine don't tend to be particularly heavy or long, but occassionally I do get bad cramps for a day or two. If you decide to give it a try, I would recommend having a cup every other day the week before your period is due. I take it every day of the flow too. I don't experience the heavy bleeding that I have read that other women who suffer from fibroids do. I have found it in the health food sections of food stores like safeway or krogers, as well as health food stores. Make sure it is red rasberry leaf tea and not simply " rasbery (flavored) tea " http://www.homeschoolwiththeweb.com/redraspberry.htm best, suz Suz, > > I tried red raspberry tablets, not tea a while back to help control heavy > bleeding, pain from fibroids.
