Hey everybody!

I was wondering if anybody in here has had a laprascopy done. My gyn

suspects endometriosis, and wants to do lap. on me. I was kinda

wondering how it went for other women who have had them done. Did

you go home the same day? Was it very painful? Things like that, as

I am kind of apprehensive about this. OH! and great news, over the

month, my fibroid has not grown really at all..which is good. Hope

to hear from any of you who know about having the Lap done. Thanks

for any replies in advance!

Hi Kristiana

Yes I had a laporoscopy done almost 2 years ago as

part of the investigations the hospital did to find

out the causes of my pains. I didn't go home the day

after as I was very sick and almost passed out - a bad

reaction to the painkillers, but otherwise you will. I

felt a bit sore and tender for about a week after and

took a week off work. I hope that helps.
