Uterine Fibroid Meet Ups

As you may have seen, I've created a Uterine Fibroids Meet Up using a

Meet Up service online which is free. This tool generates a meeting

announcement and sends out email to members every month regarding any

potential meetups being held in their city -- or any one of 612 cities

around the world. If not enough people in a given region respond to

the monthly email indicating an interest and desire to show up to the

monthly meeting, then it is cancelled for that city.

This tool is only as good as the members who sign up for it and look

to the announcements for getting together with others. However, if

all the members here took the time to sign up (it's free) and choose

the city closest to them, then other members on the group would have a

better idea of who is also within their region.

Any members who wish to host meetings in their city can contact me

offline for additional materials from NUFF for distribution and/or

discussion at their meeting. Also, please feel free to let others

know about this Meet Up tool so they too can participate in our get

togethers.

Doulas

I've contacted a representive from the Doulas of North America and

begun a dialogue on this issue of potentially utilizing their services

for reproductive medical support extending beyond childbirth needs.

She was extremely receptive to the overall idea/concept and will be

talking to others within the organization about this. I will

certainly keep the group informed as to the progress on this issue.
