Guest guest Posted January 29, 2004 Report Share Posted January 29, 2004 How many of you out there have had surgery more than once? I had an ovarian cyst removed along with my right ovary in 1981. I have a vertical scar that is a couple of inches below my belly button down to my hair line. In the future, if I need surgery, will they automatically do a bikini cut? The doctor cut along the bikini line, in the same place where the previous incision was. When I was pregnant, my previous ob/gyn told me that if she had to do a C section, she'd cut along the same line.
