Okay so many of you have been with me through so much

of this. You have been both cheering section and kick

in the anatomy when needed I figured I'd share.

Five days with not even a spot of blood.

FIVE :)

:)

:)

(sorry I am not gloating just hoping this is a good

sign.)

This IS definitely reason to celebrate! Glad to hear this!

For so very long, you had to well..........just..... " go with the flow...... "

Therefore, I say.....now that the bleeding has finally stopped, you

certainly have earned the right to " CROW.. about NO FLOW, no? " So, gloat,

crow,

cheer.... away!!!

Oh-and to pick up on your earlier thread about CSI. How luminol would reveal

the presence of all the cleaned blood stains in your home, causing crime scene

investigators to wonder about the possible cover-up of a bloody homicide...

Not to worry, e.

Did you know forensic scientists can actually differentiate between

circulation blood (when a blood vessel is injured say, during a stabbing or

shooting)

and MENSTRUAL BLOO at a crime scene.

For starters, menstrual blood, unlike circulation blood, contains Matrix

metalloproteinase (MMP). (Who knew?!!!!................ But 'y'all know

now!!!!!)

The Connecticut LOL might even remember a celebrated murder case a number of

year back, in which a husband was convicted of killing his wife (It was called

the " Woodchipper Murder " case.)

In the beginning of the case, there was no body, because the wife had simply

vanished without a trace. There WAS, however one tiny suspicious blood stain

on the couple's mattress, which the husband claimed was an " innocent " blood

stain--- from his wife's menstrual flow. (The So-called " Submucosal Fibroid

Defense??? " ) Yeah, sure, buddy!

The forensic team quickly determined from blood chemistries that the blood

on the foot of the mattress was NOT blood from her menses. It was blood from a

wound!!!

Husband eventually busted for her murder and is serving a term of almost 100

years in State Penn.

The case is a whole lot more involved than that....but......

I wonder in the closing argument of this case, to secure a conviction for the

husband--whether the prosecutor might have paraphrased the old ny Cochran

line and told the jury. . .

" If the " menstrual stain " ain't LEGIT....you must CONVICT! "

Waddya think? ;-)
