Guest guest
e, I had similar pains but around week 8. All of the sudden my lower back and hips began hurting. I don't think you are too far off thinking maybe the weakened ab muscles could be straining to support your upper body. This pain did pass and I have not had it since. Also, I was told by the RE's nurse when I called after she consulted with him about my complaints that the internal healing sometimes takes longer in certain people. I continued to take it easy and not do too much up to 10 weeks. I just became very aware of how I moved and how much I lifted. As far as the stitch (little tail) I had that too on the right side. I was worried about it and asked if it should be removed. I was told to just leave it alone and eventually it did disappear. I don't think you should worry to much about it unless it appears to be red, itchy or oozing. I am sorry I don't know anything about uterine suspension. I read my surgical report and it also mentioned that at the end the uterus was suspended. Maybe this is just a certain technique the surgeon uses??? If you know what it means, please explain it to me if you can. It sounds like you might know more about that part. Good luck on your continued recovery. I am so happy for you and the fact that you have stopped bleeding! Yea!
Guest guest
Hi Ladies I had a uterine suspension during a lap last June. This is where the uterus is tilted so they consatina fold the round ligament over it and put in a stitch to hold your uterus up. Some doctors actually cut the round ligament and then shorten it to the required length, but I have been told that this an outdated procedure. Hope this helps Suziedee
