Guest guest
This is an interesting thread. I'm just recovering from my second myomectomy in three years - and still a long way from menopause. I've had hypothyroidism for ten years (Hashimoto's) but have kept it checked fairly well (at least once a year). I still seem to be quite good at growing these fibroids (five taken out the first time, three this go 'round). I've generally had to change Synthroid dosage at least once a year - mostly up (up to 1.75 mcg now). I'm only 40 and I KNOW I can't stomach yet another myomectomy - and still a long way from menopause. Wonder if its worth checking every 6 months instead of every year just in case. > Hi Gerri. Thank you so much for the link. Very informative.
