Hi,

In the hands of a skilled myo surgeon, it would be extreamly rare, no 15-20%.

I'd be asking about your doc's skill level. My RE has NEVER had to convert a myo

to a hyst and he does a lot of myos. If your only 95% sure that you don't want

kids, check into a skilled RE and leave your options open. You just never know

what the future holds. Find a very skilled myo doc that does them all the time.

It's just not about having kids. There are other negatives to consider with

hysts too.

Hi everyone

Just like all of us here I have fibroids

3 x 1cm, 1 x 4cm and a 8cm one

My gyno is a very understanding woman but has given me some nasty

statistics about MYO's

She claims 10-15% of MYO'S performed end up having to be

Hysterectomy's

Has this happened to many people out there, where you have gone for a

Myo and ended up with a Hyster?

I am 38 with no kids. 95% sure that my husband and I dont want any

Thanks
