Jen, I suspect the reason you felt like a jerk for questioning him is

that one of those old tapes we all seem to have in our heads which

hold all those things we learned early on began running: " Doctors are

GOD. You don't question GOD. " But you came up across some

information that didn't square with what your IR had told you, and

you behaved like an adult woman -- you politely asked him for

clarification. There's no reason for feeling guilty and I think you

need to tell that LOL (little old lady) in your head that you are an

adult and acted in an appropriate manner to take care of yourself.

Congratulations for behaving like the intelligent, adult woman you

are!
