Guest guest
My son is four and chelating using primarily DMPS and ALA. We had a problem once a year ago when the dosage wasn't frequent enough and we had a lot of stimming and isolation from the world. We have not seen any signs of redistribution since. Now we have serious aggression for the first time. (No signs of stims or isolation) We have had some biting and hair pulling in the past, but typical of the two year old variety. Now at home and school we are seeing BIG TIME nasty biting and viscious attacks on other children. The behaviors come and go and the rest of the time he is his regular sweet self. I haven't seen a pattern emerge yet regarding on/off days. Looking for possible causes of this aggression. Thank you. -

Guest guest
Maybe it's not anything to do with chelation. Have you added any sups lately? When we added carnosine, my daughter's behavior became horrible, even though I had read so many posts about carnosine being beneficial. Doublecheck new sups and foods. > > My son is four and chelating using primarily DMPS and ALA. Especially if the aggression is sudden, and he is tired after it. Find a copy of Dan Amen's book Healing ADD and do questions 37-49 of the ADD checklist. If they score high then rigorously exclude hydrogenated fat from his diet, try magnesium, taurine and GABA, and consider asking your doctor about mood stabilizing/antiseizure medications - which often work at relatively low doses compared to the typical Rx, and thus much lower side effects too. Also stress reduction and adrenal support can help a lot in some cases. Andy . .. . . ..
