Yes, it will probably get worse if he increases the dose. Better let

your body get more used to it. Did you try eating yogurt every day as I

suggested? If so, this takes a while to take effect. I would also

advise you to take the metformin after a meal until you adjust to it. I

used to have to take mine after meals, but now I'm able to take it 30

minutes before meals with no side effects. Sue
