Most kids are hyper with yeast, but some are lethargic. Good luck. Dana
Guest guest
My son has this problem when chelating. His liver enzymes had doubled when we checked them, just on a hunch. Did you happen to run a CBC before you started chelation? I would run one now just in case. Milk thistle helps this- I realise your using ALA- which isnt supposed to create a live issue- in fact it should help- but I just thought I would share... How about your protcol? How much does she weigh, how much is your dose, and how often do you give it? When she fell asleep- was this after a night of chelation? How about suppliments? [ ] Tired & Lethargic - Possible Regression?? Hi All, Again, I am a new member. I have been doing ALA only, for about 4 rounds, I think, and my daughter has been doing beautifully. We do it on the weekends, and she gets the week off to recoup. Well, yesterday she fell asleep as soon as she came home from school at 5, which was really unusual for her. And today the school called me to say that she was really lethargic, and wanted to lie down and nap, again highly unusual. I am picking her up at the regular time, and taking her directly to a doctor's office for a checkup. She doesn't have a fever, isn't coughing, but does seem to have slight allergies - i.e. runny nose. COuld this be a regression, or just a cold, or just plain old tired? I'm so worried about her, and hope that I'm just overreacting. =======================================================
Guest guest
Thank you for your response! I forgot the exact dosage, I have it written down at home, but I give her ALA every three hours on the weekends. That's why it puzzled me why this would occur during the midweek. I think she wasn't getting enough supplements during the week, or fluids, and need to figure out a solution for her preschool. It's hard to get her to take vitamins, so I give her about a cup of each every day of Green Plant juice and Vitality from trader Joe's, it has selenium, ginko, chlorea - and she doesn't have any adverse reactions from that at all. I also give her the Yummy Bears vitamins. That's it. I am going to buy Andy's book so I can read more about milk thistle, etc. Thanks again for your response! > My son has this problem when chelating. Guest guest
Dana, It could definitely be yeast. I'll have to check it out. SHe is doing very well at school today though.
