Hello, listmates,

My son is 8 1/2, 62 lbs., Dx'd with ADHD/Asperger's, and has done 13

rounds of chelation, low and slow protocol, with DMSA and ALA.

Recently dc'd the DMSA due to slightly elevated liver profile (unsure

exactly which aspect).

Our DAN MD recently suggested doing ALA at same dose, still every

three hours, but every other day.

I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on this, esp. in light of Dr.

Buttar's apparent success with TD-DMPS every other day. Could it be

that every other day is really what is so good about his protocol?

Thanks,

Janet

this is a really poor idea. Why bother to do every 3 hours

at night, then stop after one day?

Do it right and do 3 days in a row.

I really cannot imagine how that could be what is so good about

his protocol. Other every other day protocols have produced

the mixed results one would expect, so I don't think there is

anything great about every other day. Also, in Buttar's case,

I think he uses ONE DOSE every other day, isn't it? That is

even worse than what your doctor proposes. One dose every

other day is pretty dismal. It is interesting that he gets

such good results.

good wishes,

Moria

I agree with Moria, bad idea. You can not really use the TD-DMPS

Buttar protocol to compare with even if it did work, with oral ALA

protocol.
