It just seems wrong to not be able to drink occasionally, after all the time we spend dealing with stress & other RSD complaints! But, Just about every single medication that we are on says: Do Not Drink Alcohol while taking this Medication. OR: Drinking Alcohol with this Medication may Increase the effects of the Alcohol, making Driving a Vehicle or Heavy Equiptment impossible. (or something like that) BUT!!! I've been on quite a few different kinds of medications.....most of them anyways, in one form or another, and, I have myself, drank alcohol here and there while taking medication. I DON'T go all crazy and drink a lot, or all the time though. I'll have maybe 2-3 drinks twice a month, or, 2-3 drinks every 2-3 months....and, what I do drink is always mixed drinks. I always try and mix them weak....more of the Non-alcoholic beverage than of the alcohol. And, I've never had any problems doing this. I also don't have to take any sleeping pills the nights that I drink.....I tend to fall asleep pretty easily without them, and sleep a LOT better and longer with the mixed drinks than I do with the sleeping pills. BUT THIS IS JUST ME, AND MY OPINION, AND WHAT I DO FOR MYSELF. WHAT SOMEONE ELSE DOES, AND HOW SOMEONE ELSE TAKING MEDS REACTS TO ALCOHOL IS TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
