I have several dental fillings. I plan on having them removed next

year, once we return to the US. I have been taking selenium and it

makes me feel so much better. My depression is gone. My question

is, can I take selenium until I get my fillings replaced? Since

selenium is not a chelator, will the mercury get redistributed

eventually and mess me up. Am I hurting myself by taking selenium

now? I haven't had a chance to buy Andy's book yet so I am still in

the dark about my amalgams. If I don't take my selenium my

depression will return and I don't want it to.

My son improved quite a bit when I added selenium.

I did eventually need to stop giving the selenium, because just like

with most of his other supplements, it eventually caused a regression

for my son. For my son, once his body no longer needs a supplement

[or needs less of a supplement], he will regress. So just be aware

that if you start feeling worse, you might need to reduce the dose or

remove it.

Glad you found something to help with depression.

Well,

I stopped the selenium. I started feeling very, very bad. Today it

felt like something was messing up my brain cells. The selenium

must have been releasing the mercury. My short term memory has

gotten much worse. I drank some liquid zinc mixed in orange

juice. It was like putting water on a fire. I felt much better. I

will only use selenium when I chelate. I just hope I have not

permanently damaged myself. By the way, I got Andy's book today so

I know exactly what to take now. I guess everyone is different.
