I have a variety of joint problems and if I drink or eat aspartame for a day or two (several servings) I end up in so much pain I can hardly walk and getting upstairs is almost unbearable. Once the aspartame is out of my system I'm fine. Splenda does not cause this problem. Bev in Oregon aspartame/diet coke You've been misinformed. Use it as much as you wish. The only way aspartame will hurt you is if a diet-coke delivery truck hits your car.
