Dear Sweet - Welcome to the group. I think that you might be able to find some answers and ideas here. In turn, we may very well find answers and ideas from you also. At the very least, you'll find solid support from a genuinely nice group of people who know what it's like to have to deal with this day in and day out. I too am a "long-timer"... thriteen years although mine started in response to shattering my elbow. I now have RSD in my arm and hand and in the lower leg on the same side. Where are you from and what treatment are you getting? Hope that you find what you need here. Barbara in MA

Hi Barb!

Thanks for the welcome! I hope talking to people in this group will help me deal with things I am going through. Yes, I have had the RSD for a very long time, but things have gotten so much worse in the last few months, and very bad this week. I have been through so much, doctors, treatments, meds, and have been on disability for a long time now. I went back to work in 2002, had a terrible supervisor, and resigned. By the time I resigned, my pain was also back up to the moon and my BP was off the charts. I hope to be able to start my own business this coming year - that is why I want to get things under control.

I am from Wisconsin - yes the cold weather does not help, but as of now, I do not have the choice of moving to a more warmer climate. Wishing the best for you in the new year, and wishing the best for everyone else. Connie BARBARA TORREY wrote:

Connie -

The group is terrific and can really be helpful when the RSD is gnawing at you. I'm from Massachusetts like several other folks here so I'm no stranger to the cold. As a kid, though, I used to spend my summers on Wisconsin. Several of the docs ( a married couple) that Tricia and I know just moved to Wisconsin in July. Let me know if you're ever in the need for a decent doc. BarbaraConnie Field wrote:
