Guest guest Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 my left foot has droped as far down as it can go and now is turning inward like a " c " . the nails are briitel . dr. said that i need to mosturize the foot 4 times a day. skin very tough on nails. i am n a wheel chair all the time. cannot walk on it. rsd in heart and intestines and kideys. not a fun thing. i also have canecer in bone. does this help you. cathy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have RSD and worry about losing my foot in the future, but have nothing going on at this point like you are dealing with. Have never heard of RSD in the heart, kidneys, etc. Would be interested in any info you would feel like sharing. You mentioned having cancer in the bone also? Are you getting proper treatment for this and medicines for pain control? Thinking of you and wishing the best for you. sweethearthelper@... Please Cathy when up to typing, let us all understand how rsd gets inside heart and how does it manifest itself in heart, and other organs. I was told have rsd in many organs and have small idea how feels but not anything like you must. You know how sorry I am Cathy. Gosh would love so much to be able to make all things right for you, both physically and with family. Many hugs Cathy and Connie, have wanted to write to you and get to know you better. I do try to help others as much as possible, that is why I went into medicine and nursing. I miss my career in nursing very much. It was my dream - next to becoming a doctor. That dream disappeared while in college, when I got ill for a long period of time and it was so hard to catch up in the pre-med program. I then went into the nursing program. I hope to start my own nursing consultant business sometime this year - but with all of the family health concerns at this time - it will be put on the back burner. My Dad's health has been failing and he has been having some terrific health concerns. Now, my sister, 2 years younger than I am, and she has Down's Syndrome, was just diagnosed with cancer on Thursday. I will be helping as much as I possibly can with both of them, as well as supporting my Mom who is having a terrible time with all of this, dealing with alot of anger, and lashing out. I am trying to keep everything in control - to some extent, and hope and pray things will work out. I pray and think of all of the people I talk to and wish the best for them. Sometimes, I wish I was closer to them, so I could personally help them. Meanwhile, I am trying to keep my own pain under control, and will be putting off my own neck surgery that needs to be done. I hope and pray the pain in my hands, arms, neck, and back will remain in control from my last injection, so that I can continue to help my family. Take care yourself, and I think of all in the group and pray for them daily. Hope to talk to you again.
