I understand your feelings in regards to this whole matter, I

understand that you feel you were only trying to help your friend by

giving what you felt was sound advice. I do agree with Ginny that

words that come off as harsh sounding do tend to turn a person off

from listening to the advice behind those words. I for one would stop

listening even if the advice came from the most caring person in the

world.

But like Barbara said, you wrote your apology in regards to the

matter and that should have been sufficient...everyone understands

that our words dont always come off as we would like them to, as your

friends we understand who you are, how you care about others and also

how your truthfulness as YOU put it can be harsh...its ok...honestly

we all have our quirks that sometimes come off as odd, aggrivating,

and even downright offensive to others BUT as a friend you learn to

overlook the not so positive for the better parts of who our friends

are...and Amey people..your friends overlook your harsh opinions and

seek out your compassion, warmth and generousity as well as the fact

that you are knowledgeable and caring.

I guess what Im trying to say is that your presence would be surely

missed by me as well as many on here....please reconsider your

decision to leave and realize that we are all different, we are all

entitled to our opinions and we are all allowed to share our

feelings..often times we forget who we may offend or hurt in the

process and during those times it whould be brought to the offenders

attention in a mature fashion...lets try and strive for that in

2005...it would releve the stress we dont need in our lives and may

bring everyone to a closer bond that is so necessary in dealing with

our day to day lives.

Ok, enough rambling...from this lil " rambler " (who could never take

your place Amey)
