Guest guest
If I was you, I would try DMSA or ALA on its own. I would also cut the dose you are using in half. I started using ALA only at 12.5 mg per dose which is much less than Andy's minimum recommendation for my weight and I would have reduced it more had it not agreed with me. By the way are you sure you haven't got any amalgam in your mouth? under crowns? under gold fillings? in root canals? All the best, Dagmar. [ ] Andy - Redistribution Question How can I be sure that the mercury is leaving my body when I chelate with DMSA & ALA, 12 mg each, every 3 hours round the clock, 3 to 4 days on, 4 to 11 days off, (for almost 2 years)? Since I have even stronger symptoms of mercury moving around now than when I first started, I am concerned that it is being stirred up but not getting out properly. I have a large mercury burden, met almost all of your counting rules and have a huge reaction to tiny amounts of chelating agents. When I chelate and sometimes for a few days after, my symptoms range and vary from headaches that keeping moving around and changing, to sinus, teeth, ear and jaw pain and pressure, fibromyalgia, anger, lethargy, depression, reactivation of chronic fatigue virus, etc. Once in a while I have very little reaction to chelation and I do NOT feel I am allergic to it. This is exactly what I would be interested in knowing. This is a very common problem. Even when a mercury free dentist told you it was all out. Guest guest
> Can't take the GS Detox Profile because that amount of caffeine would send me to the ER. If you are in the US you can simply have the doc order cysteine and sulfate (only) on the test form that comes with the kit. You don't have to do the caffeine for them to get all the other results. > I have many exaggerated side-effects from meds. I do take lots of good supplements as you recommend and also, milk thistle. I definitely had great improvement in the first 6 months, now it is so slow. Plus I seem to develop weird problems during a chelation that hang around a few weeks or months, then resolves on it's own - like ocular migraines, migraine headaches, magnesium co-q-10, and butterburr extract (sold as such or under the brand name petadolex) help a lot with migraines. >severe arthritis in thumbs, staph infection, increased pain sensitivity, neuropathy, attention deficit, dyslexia, restless leg syndrome, etc. > > How can I be sure that the mercury is leaving my body when I chelate? Does the body get more efficient over the course of years of chelation and dump larger amount with the same dose of dmsa? > > Thank you for your book and your help. > >
Guest guest
I am not Andy, but here are a few ideas if you want to consider them. These are all major yeast symptoms for me. You might want to increase your yeast-fighting protocol. >>neuropathy, If you are using B vitamins, this might indicate that you no longer need as high a dose. B toxicity can result in neuropathy. >>restless leg syndrome, I get this when magnesium and/or potassium is low. Also, recently I had a major bout of this, which I eventually discovered was too much zinc. I dropped the zinc and took some copper and it disappeared.
