Dear Friends,

Here I am again asking for your help...I am five months post-op and have been

having some problems that I am not quite sure about.

To start off, I have had a couple " Chiari " headaches in the past couple of

months. I know that it doesn't seem like a whole lot, but that doesn't include

just the regular headache (pressure type).

My worry now is that I have been having pain and a burning ache up under the

posterior skull like I had before surgery. It starts at the base of my skull

and radiates down my neck and into my shoulder.

It almost feels like a toothache type of pain.

I had this before surgery but it was mostly on the right side. It is now on the

left side.

During my surgery the doctor took about one and a half inches of my skull

away...he shrunk my cerebellar tonsils...he cleaned up some scar tissue...he

took a bit off the first two vertebrae...and he put in a dura patch.

I was told that I shouldn't have any more problems due to the fact that he gave

me so much room back there.

Could this be serious or is it just the Fibromyelgia doing it's wonderful dance

on me?

I am really sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!!

I don't even have the energy to get ready for Christmas, but I know I have to.

Please help me!!!! (If you can)

Many, many thanks to you all!

Your friend,

Anne
