Guest guest
Mona--That definitely sounds like yeast. I used Diflucan in the past and it worked, but the last time my daughter had yeast, the Diflucan did nothing. I assumed that meant we had a strain that was resistant to Diflucan. I tried a product called Candex, and it has been great for us. It is a combination of enzymes that eat the cell wall of yeast, so it doesn't matter the strain. You can get it at the health food store or Vitamin Shoppe. Might be worth a try.--Tod > Son 6yr., Diagnosed at 2.5 > GFCF for 3 yrs., > recently he has been acting weird. Guest guest
The homeopathic remedy Candida Albicans is really effective. I used it when my daughter got a yeast infection from antibiotics to treat an ear infection (and I know better than to use antibiotics). I as so used a homeopathic remedy to clear up the ear infection that the doctor wanted to put in tubes for. If you choose use the remedy, make sure you change it into the liquid form before giving it to your child. Marilyn ps. she didn't have a die off effect but she is not autistic (vaccine-free 17 months) momlv777 <mbhasso@...> wrote: Thanks Tod, I just recently started useing Candex, I have to wait a few more days to see the results I guess. Guest guest
I used to have the foamy saliva. I thought it was yeast. It seemed to go away after taking doses of amino acids and some minerals. I don't know what fixed it but I don't think it is yeast at all for me. Seemed that I didn't get it everyday so it was hard to pinpoint what actually cleared it up. I got great benefit from taking MSM but this did not stop the saliva change. Also I took colostrum but this did not stop the saliva problem either. They did help me to feel better physically. I also didn't attribute any of the chelation I was doing to correct it. Some of the amino acids I took was taurine, tyrosine and minerals such as manganese . Oh, there were a couple other and I can't remember them. Everything I took I looked into information if this was related and found nothing. Glad it stopped though. I did notice a small ringing in my head with the change. I thought it might have been related to my blood sugar but I didn't find any connection with that at all. Totally not related. I did find some reading that it is a brain response of some kind. Just don't know if it is so because our amino acids work as neurotransmitters and also many of our vitamins and minerals act as carriers to transport the amino acids and support their function. I wouldn't rule yeast out though for your child. Hope this helps some.
