Guest guest
Lori, What round are you on? My son just had a wonderful chelation weekend last week--and the gains have NOT diminished!!
Guest guest
Lori I too find my boy (4 yr old, currently on round 21 DMSA/ALA Andy protocol) does better on the 'on' days. Much more aware and less spacey. I've been keeping ATEC scores throughout and find that yes he does improve every 4/5th round in bigger jumps. His original score was 66 before chelation and is currently 23 (it was 103 a year ago before I started GFCF diet, enzymes, yeast treatment and supplements in that order). Am currently starting to fade out the diet. Incidently I have correlated the sudden leaps in gains to times when I increased his doses. I started on 12.5 mg DMSA alone, and am currently on 20 mg of each of DMSA and ALA (he's 40lb). So I now have no where else to go since I have reached the 1/2 mg per lb that is recommended. He has not plateaued yet (and not regressed) but I did wonder if I could increase his dose still further if need be. I wondered what others were doing when they had reached the maximum recommended dose and no further gains noted. (Improvement does happen every round > I'm sure, but not enough to say wow! that's great) > Could it be that once enough metals/junk is accumulated into > one area of the body and dumped, that's when the larger gains occur? > > Everyone's input is much appreciated. > > Lori
Guest guest
> may i ask what chelation is? Removal of heavy metals from the body. More info here http://www.danasview.net/chelate.htm >> i have a 7 year old who is PDD-NOS...and who has a voracious appetite....will only eat certain foods.... My son ate constantly, when he was eating a food or supplement he did not tolerate. What foods will your child eat? He might be having a reaction from them. You can remove foods, or consider using enzymes instead of removing foods. The most common problem foods are milk, wheat and other gluten, soy, corn, and phenols http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Here is a good enzyme supplier http://www.houstonni.com/ Dana
