No- never a support group per se- had to keep putting one foot in front of other-work-try to eat- care for a third child- keep one step ahead of abuser etc. And- not a language barrier per se- but- tiring to " emote " in a second or third language- even though I can-and have,on occassion- thing is- others with very close to my story- are gone- killed or in institutions,or- wiped and surviving in poverty on Welfare. I am - rather alone- I chose to " fight " - resist- and got hammered for it - ! Ah well - proves I'm still alive ! Of course I could use support- but- - - Reading here helps - notes from people like you REALLY help- all prayers accepted -thankfully ! can you include my 2 daughters ??? Yeah, sometimes fighting and surviving seems to be the more painful outcome, but somewhere, deep inside, strength is developing. Your signature line says it all -- abuse is evil -- and to do nothing to fight it allows it to prosper. Hang in there. The great thing about prayer is that everyone can do it, and I'd be happy to pray for your daughters as well as yourself. We're all in this thing called " life " together, and I personally find it a privilege to do whatever I can to ease the load for a fellow traveler.
