Guest guest Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Don't beat yourself up for one binge. Just " fuggetaboutit " and start fresh tomorrow with no guilt -- or else, if you are like me, you will eat because of guilt. Let that be history and start a new future tomorrow -- you have come too far to throw it all away now. We're here for you, Joanie Quote
Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I have to agree with Joanie here. Just dust yourself off and start fresh. We have all done it and we have all paid for it as well, so just keep telling yourself that it will be all right and just don't have it around the house. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@... Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Yeup cleaned out the house last night. I have started with oatmeal and now my protein drink. So I am on track so far this morning. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I just keep telling myself nothing tastes as good as thin feels. :-) When I see myself in the mirror or am able to go buy smaller clothes...it reminds me to stay on track to continue losing. And I try to keep healthy things around...soy crisps, etc to snack on if I really can't resist the urge. W 280/257/160 Mtkntrygl77 wrote: > Hello everyone. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 , You have it so right with that saying. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I went to a convention where I saw lots of my old friends, who have not seen me since surgery. They did not even know it was me. My mother was with me and she of course still looks the same, so they would see her and ask about me, like where was I? I was standing right next to her!! I also had friends come up and say I haven't met you yet, and I would have to say " Yes you have " and once they heard my voice, their jaws dropped to the floor!!! What a feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even describe it. It is so weird because when I look in the mirror I don't think I look that different, but I guess I do. Take care, in CA > > I just keep telling myself nothing tastes as good as thin feels. :- ) > When I see myself in the mirror or am able to go buy smaller > clothes...it reminds me to stay on track to continue losing. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 There's a couple of brands at Costco. The Ranch flavored Gensoy Potato soy crisps in a 22oz bag for $7 are the most crispy. Hummus is chickpea and sesame seed paste with flavorings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummus It comes in many flavors. I have garlic and chive and tomatoe and basil in my fridge. It was buy one get one at Meijer last week. > > Soy Crisps rock!! Try them with hummus sometime. > > > Quote
Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I remember as one of the Weight Watcher quotes. I also say that...I was folding clothes today and said to myself I do not want all of these big clothes anymore. I am telling myself and concentrating on today that it will be okay and I will stay on track. --- Woodard alittleisenough@...> wrote: > I just keep telling myself nothing tastes as good as > thin feels. :-) > When I see myself in the mirror or am able to go buy > smaller > clothes...it reminds me to stay on track to continue > losing. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 One saying I remember: " If you don't take care of your body - where will you live? " Think about it - live has so many different meanings. Jackie in CA Mtkntrygl77 mtkntrygl77@...> wrote: I remember as one of the Weight Watcher quotes. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Yeah Meijer and other stores around here have horrible deals on it with it being $3 for 3.5oz or so. That's almost a buck an ounce. Get it bulk and you get $6-$7 for 20 or so ounces. Now that's a deal! My family loves them too so it's not just for wls patients. > > There's a couple of brands at Costco. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 they're sort of a light beige. The ones I have are flavored and colored like their flavors...tomatoe basil is reddish orange and garlic herb is sort of pale orange.
