Our eating costs have gone down since I have had the surgery because I

simply cannot eat as much, so sometimes we bring stuff home and I have it

the next day for lunch.

Re: Need to talk......please read

How about, " I guess I won't be spilling that crap on my shirt

anymore " or " I guess I won't be spending $X on that anymore " or " I

guess I won't be making myself practically sick by eating 5+ servings

of that anymore " or " I guess I won't freak out my family and friends

by eating twice as much in half the time as they do anymore " ? It's

probably much harder to think about missing those things. I know I

don't miss them a bit. I miss the types of food even less.

You'll find that you're going to desire food that actually has a lot

more flavor. You might actually want to have meals that are often a

LOT more expensive and snooty. Yet you can afford them because you're

either eating them less often or getting two meals out of them with a

take home box or left overs.

Good luck " resolving " your issues. I'm happy to help where I can.

WOOT!

I take no meds, no CPAP and can actually cross my legs and bring my

feet nearly into my lap to cut my toe nails or put socks/shoes on. I

was to the point with my weight where I thought I was going to have

to have someone cut my toe nails for me. Imagine that.

And I still want you and all the other ladies in here to have

's Secret (and a camera with fresh batteries and an empty

memory card).

60g sounds right. I didn't do much with protein drinks until I

started really kicking up my workout. Others have good

recommendations though. I would think your surgeon's office could

recommend something too. When you get a brand you want to try submit

a contact to their website asking for samples/coupons. I'll bet money

you get some in the mail fast.

Stop apologizing for being negative. You're overall goal is a

positive change. Big picture honey!

I think we realize many things while we are naked going through this journey. I

know how that must sound, but it is so true. That is great Mike, I realized it

when I could do the same thing. It is SOOOOO nice to move around myself now.

Sex, what's that? Oh yea, now I remember...LOL!

I guess my mind just went into the gutter after that post. I can only

imagine what is now running through the guys' heads after you

mentioned being able to put your foot behind your head. At least I

know what my male friends would say about that flexibility (they

aren't the classiest bunch).

ROTFLMAO!

They probably were. Think about how many muscles you would have to

have to be able to carry 491 pounds around.

Just prior to the surgery I was able to carry myself and and

additional 60 pounds of stuff up the stairs. I can't imagine that I'll

be that strong after the weight has come off.

Kim,

I have a few pairs of my shoes that are not tied but laced up to the top

and then tied off at each side....Do you understand? I did this so I would

not have to tie them, and I could just slip them on........I know what you

mean..Now I can tie my shoes with no problems at all....

When you get back into work on Tuesday you need to get with your HR

and go over your optical insurance. Get a check up!

I guess my mind just went into the gutter after that post. I can only

imagine what is now running through the guys' heads after you

mentioned being able to put your foot behind your head. At least I

know what my male friends would say about that flexibility (they

aren't the classiest bunch).

ROTFLMAO!

Hi Kim,

I wore the shoes with the velcro fasteners and that worked really well for

me because I could pull them up and once I got my foot in them, I could just

flip the thing over and it stayed fastened.

I had LASIK and have 20/20 vision, thank you very much. Besides, you

keep talking about how toned you are getting from working out.

Hey! You have a point there. I never thought about that before. LOL

Tim needs a shower before I get in the shower w/ him tho. He just spent

the past couple of hours trying to get his truck unstuck from the yard.

It was bad. LOL!
