My insurance co. will not pay for shoes either...Just

wondering what your letter to the insurance co. said...I

might give it a try also...

Not sure if you were asking me this question or not. : ) Our insurance

covers the shoes and the bar together, but doesn't cover just the shoes.

There's a different code for the shoes and the bar together, versus just the

shoes. The main thing was getting a letter from our doctor that stated he

needed the larger sized shoes and that they were going on the bar. I guess

hubby wrote his own letter as well, but he did all that at work so I haven't

seen any of them. I can find out though if you need me to.

hi katie

my insurance covered 90% of the lap, hyst and resection - that's how

my plan works - i usually pay 10% of whatever

i had to make sure though that the dr i was seeing was 'in network' -

had i chose an 'out of network' dr my out of pocket expense would have

gone up considerably ...

maybe you can ask your dr for the procedures' codes and then talk to

your insurance and see how much they cover .... i did that just to

have an idea of how much i was going to spend
