Hi ,

Thanks for your reply - it does sound like there are similarities

between Finlay & . How has Finlay been? Does he feed OK? When was

he diagnosed?

We are currently being referred to Asunta (not sure of her second

name) the chief endrocronologist at St s in Tooting (where

was born). I've heard that Asunta studied and worked with Dr Stanhope

and shares his views, so maybe we will not be referred to him. I'll

let you know. It's quite early days for us just yet.

It's good to hear that you are also experiencing the opposite end of

the spectrum now with big boy Logan!

bye for now

Rae

Hi Helen,

Thanks for your reply. We have a feeling that we've been very lucky

with 's feeding so far. We've built up the amount over time and I

don;t think we'll try to increase the milk now she is starting solids.

We're still feeding her 6x a day (7.30/10.30/14.00/16.30/19.30/23.00)

and use fast flow teats. She has Gaviscon to help with her reflux and

that just blocked up all the smaller teats!

She's only on fruit & veg so far but seems to take a reasonable amount

(with her being my first, it's difficult to know what is a good or

little amount!. Ho wmuch does Mattius eat?

However, I have to say that some days it is a real struggle to get her

to take more than 3oz at each feed - yesterday was a prime exmaple -

it took over an hour for each bottle of constant struggle and

irritability, after which she had still left 1oz and would not take a

drop more!

We're just keeping our fingers crossed that she carries on with more

good days than bad!

Bye for now

Rae

p.s. I love Mattius's photos - particularly the one with the long hair

....!

  • 1 year later...

What a cutie!! He looks so healthy. Another advantage to c-section is a

perfect head!!! Routine? Forget about it! LOL!

Congratulations again!
