Sounds about like the way we did it too although my dh being a taxidermist we

had access to a wide variety of cutting tools so the casts came off rather

simply (cut with scissors I think mostly).

Hi ,

Oh, sorry you are dealing with this! When I was soaking 's

casts off, I used the larger side of my double sink and filled with

nice wamr water. The I just poured vinegar in. I would say about

1/2 - 3/4 of a cup but I am not sure since I didn't measure it.

Make sure you massage the casts really well to work the water into

them. We did a combination of cutting and unpeeling. Depended on

if we could find the " end " of the plaster roll. We did use regular

scissors and made sure that one of us held her still while the other

one made small cuts. It usually took about 30 minutes -- for one

cast.
