Typically, your child will wear the boots full time (23 hours a day) for the

first 3 months. Then he will probably go to 16-18 hours a day, and eventually

just at night. He will wear them at night until the age of 3 or 4.

Unfortunately, you were given the wrong information.

I've got it says that the brace should be removed after 3 months after the

cast has been removed but still keep the brace on at night time.
