Guest guest
Hello, Our daughter who has been in the dbb for two weeks now is experiencing difficulties with her left heel. She was initially slipping out of the boot and we have disscussed a possible tenotomy on that foot - our last resort because the foot is so flexible - as flexible as the other (it was very mild and only required one cast while the other had four and the tenotomy). We have now mastered the boot and she no longer slips out of it, but we are now left with a rather raw heel. We left her out of the dbb for three full days to let it heal, but after putting it back on for 15 hours, it is still red although now scabbed. Outside of cutting a hole in the boot, does anyone have any advice or pointers for us? Thanks in advance, , Tim and Baby Molly
