Guest guest
I would try a spray Collodial Silver Mandi in UK This is somewhat off topic - but I have a friend who has a dog with an ongoing ear infection. They have done the antibiotics, ear drops, deep cleaning etc. He is also doing some food rotations to see if there are some food allergies. Ok, so that leads me to my question - anybody done any homeopathic treatments on their pets?
Guest guest
My dog used to get yeast infections in her ears when she was a puppy. After Rx drugs didn't eliminate the problem, I started putting diluted GSE in her ears. Honest, she has not had an ear infection since. Guest guest
No. but I did learn that we had a high level of toxic mold in our home which I believe caused chronic ear infections in my dog. Guest guest
Yes, My rabbit. However it seemed that her ear infection was a result from impacted ear wax. We didn't know this at first until I had to give her an ear flush twice a day and then drops. The vet told me that surgery was the only way to fix this problem and I might be medicating her ears forever. There was allot of ear inflammation going on and lots of bacteria stuck in the ear. She gave her echinacea and astragalus drops to take by mouth to boost her immune system. And drops for her ear that was myrrh and echinacea. Worked on her for three months and we were surprised her problem cleared up. The bacteria must have developed because of all that ear wax not moving out. And the type of bacteria that grows in a rabbits ears just sticks in there. It doesn't move out. We think the drops helped kill the bacteria and then the ear wash flushed much of it out. I don't know how it is in some dogs. Some are destined to get ear problems in some breeds. I was told with my rabbit that they get this heading into old age and it is usually an immune system problem. So it isn't an easy fix. Well I lucked out! She also had me switch her food to a very high quality food. I think that helped because her body wasn't getting fed any junk. I am sad to say how much junk they add to dog food today. I can't put any of my dogs on grocery store dog food like when I was little, my dogs did great. They just dump too much processed shit in there. I would work on a food change. I was reading on a message board last week that a brand called California Natural is very good food. No additives. I don't think I can buy this locally. But even some animals have problems with grains or something in the feed and the only choice is to make your own food for the dog. I am sure if you have to go that direction you would see some kind of improvement within two weeks.
