a I don;t think you can blame this on anything you have done. Schizophrenia hits boys more so than girls and the teen years is when it comes out.

But it is manageable once they are stabilized on meds. You are right in the respect that you cannot jeopardize the other children in the home for one.

Hospitalization is the best place to stabilize them, get medications adjusted, and keep them safe.

Just let know that you do love him very much regardless of what is going on.
