Guest guest
Thanks. So far I'm a little sore but nothing bad. I've got my 3rd load of wash in the washer, and I'm just about to start my first batch of rhubarb jam. Even people who do not like rhubarb like this jam. I'm hoping to get some rhubarb pies and maybe a cake frozen today. ???? We'll see. I wish I had taken tomorrow off of work. I know I could get everything done then. I don't believe in calling in sick because I think you will then do so. Wish I could. barb sbheme wrote: -Barb, sounds wonderful!!! I need some new tops and some other clothes for this time of year because everything I have is too small. Now you have to understand that I usually hate shopping. I told sis that I wanted to go to the used clothing stores because I'm almost all the way off of the Pred now and I will be losing weight. She said she knew just the place and she took me to the Goodwill Store. I thought she was joking but NOT! OMG we had a ball. I found 2 jumpers, 2 skirts, 2 blazers, 4 shirts and all for under $20. We spent hours in there.> > From the Goodwill we went for a drive and ended up at the other end of town so we went to a Family Dollar Store. Yup, I spent more money. I got 2 caprie outfits, an ice tea pitcher and a cute little turtle wearing a hat to put into my flower bed. We left there and went next door to K Mart where I got a pair of shorts and 4 more tops and 2 pair of sandles.> > We then went for another ride around that end of town and then about 8:00 we went to Olive Garden and had a wonderful and relaxing meal. By then my legs were telling me they were not used to this kind of treatment. LOL Too bad legs, we are going to be doing more and more of this!> > Today I am sore. Some of it is just from using muscles that I have not used much in the past year or so but the neck, shoulders and upper arms and the disease. I'm sure I'll get a lot of it worked up or riled up as the day goes on. I plan to make rhubarb jam and some rhubarb pies for the freezer. I have to wash all of the wonderful clothes that I got and I want to work outside some today. I will not be on the computer much until evening.> > I hope some of you are able to have a nice weekend also. They come so far and few between and we must charish any that we get. I laughed so much yesterday and I am sure people thought we were idiots but who cares. Guest guest
-Just take it easy and do only what you can! I don't like calling in sick either, I usually come to work sick unless I'm contagious or vomiting. I'd rather be sick here than home. -- In LUPIES , barb holkins wrote: > > Thanks.
