Guest guest
Hey - Thanks for all the adivse. I forgot one thing. Allergies. It's the start of that season for him. Time to break out all his meds again. I just checked my daily pollen reminder, and it's 8.8 on a scale of 0 - 12. So that's pretty high. So, this may be the cause of his bad headache. I forgot all about it. He usually takes zyrtec, singulair, nasonex, tylenol and sometimes sudafed for them. They are pretty severe just for about 4 months in the spring, then they slowly die down, until winter, when he doesn't have much of a problem at all. So, I gave him the zyrtec, singulair, and some tylenol. His nasonex is expired. I'll see if that helps. Over the last few years, he has missed a lot of school because of his allergies. He chose not to get the shots, because he's been tested 3 times, and each time the results were different. And, it takes about 5 years to complete the shots. He only suffers in the spring, so he didn't want to go through all those shots. He'd rather take the medicine. Especially since the tests keep coming out different. I have hay fever too. And, I've been getting minor headaches over the last week or so. Yesterday it was unseasonably warm, and it's dry. The pollen is starting to fly. It says today the pollen is Cedar/Juniper, Alder and Birch. Trees and grasses are his worst. And mold. By the end of winter, the mold spores in the house are probably pretty high. It rains so much here in Seattle, and we just have those dumb metal framed windows. So, we get a lot of condensation. I gotta go spray some bleach in the window corners now. Thanks everyone for your help. I'll let you know if the meds make him feel better. Hugs,
