Kris and his re-casting:)

Well the cast's went on yesterday, and he was fine with everything except the

plastic wrist tag, and the IV !!!! heheh, It's true I took it harder then he

did:) I have pictures of us waiting to go in, and of us in the recovery room,

and some of when we went home. Today he is just fine!! he sits in his chairs (we

have so many of those little baby chairs) and I went into storage and brought

out his old stroller that had the car seat carrier attached and put him that to

go all around, and we went walking. He was happy as a clam:) I have the feeling

that now I say he's ok, in the next few days he will turn into a little

terror....heheheh!!

He did go under reg. anesthesia, and they let me hold him in the OR while the

Anestisioligist put the mask on hi. They must know mom's cause as soon as he was

limp, they rushed me out!!! Good thing, cause I was almost in tears!! heheh

So, we finally are on our way to getting the problem delt with, and that makes

me feel a lot better...even though we have to go through this OR thing (2?)

maybe a few more times...Were scheduled for the next casting at Hospital, on the

20th. Then a week later, one more.

Words can not describe how calming it feels when you know your on the right

track to getting your child the care he/she needs:)

Thank you all for the info, and all the help and encouragement!!! It is really

a comfort knowing you have someone to talk to, ask questions, and know they can

feel what your going through!!

Thank you to Tia, for the info:) I did not have a chance to ask about that type

of sedation. But he did OK, got a little upset tummy, that's about it. He hated

the IV and all those things on him more then the casting!

Also, Jen, I'm glad to hear th ings are ok with Livie:) do you have a picture of

her in the cast's? Kris has his all the way up past the knee, and there bent for

sitting. I can't imagine him getting up in those things to walk!!! He may be

able to crawl, that's about it.
