As a very general rule, to my knowledge, dental practices usually charge the same for a procedure. It's not like they charge you more or less if you don't use Novacaine at all, or more if they have to give someone 2 shots. I really don't think it works that way, at least I've never heard of it. Has anyone ever been charged more because they got an extra shot, even if it didn't work? I doubt it, but I surely don't know how it is everywhere, but I've never seen them break it down by how many shots you got.
