Guest guest
I have had to week from you know where! After making several calls to different Shrine Temples to get help with transportation, I ended up calling the Murat Temple, which is in Indianapolis, Indiana. The man I talked to was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to. He told me since I chose to go to St. Louis instead of Chicago, Lexington, or Columbus, They were not going to help me in any way. The only thing they said that they could do is, I would drive to TerreHaute[which is at least an hour and a half away] and they would drive me from there. He said that they are not going to drive me accross the country just because I prefer one hospital over the other, he said after all we are giving you free healthcare! I was outraged at the way I was treated and am thinking about just seeing Dr. Dobbs at St. Louis Children's Hospital and not even messing with the SHriner's. That man had me in tears! My husband and I have not had any help from anyone, we do everything on our own and the one time we asked for help we were treated like scum! Oh and as far as the free healthcare goes, my insurance will be paying the majority of the bill! St. Louis Children's Hospital is on our ppo list and we only have a 20 dollar co-pay, the only thing they would be helping us on is that and the 20 percent deductable for outpatient surgeries. I don't know what we are going to do. Tyler's casts have gotten soft in one of the heals, I emailed Dr. Dobbs and he hasn't answered yet, I have an apt. at Shriner's for Thursday, but got him in at the children's hospital on Tue. Waiting to see what the doc wants me to do. SOrry to unload on you guys but I am at my wits end!
