I have never heard of such a thing. Have him see the above web sites. Maybe he talked to some bubblegum snapper in a health food store. Sometimes those places are a good source of quackery. From: Jerri Sent: Monday, May 17, 2004 10:21 AM To: LUPIES Subject: Sun question.. As many of you know, my Dad has Lupus too. He insists that he read (a couple of years ago) some research that showed that the sun really is not a trigger for Lupus. I, of course, do not agree with him and get sick EVERYTIME I'm out for very long. He had worn sunscreen for a long time. (He has had a DX for 32 years.) But now refuses to wear sunscreen, hats, long sleeves, etc. Does anyone know of this research that he is talking about or better yet -
