Guest guest
Hi all, My MIL will be coming to stay with me for a while in months to come. Bill's autopsy should be this week. If they still can, I want that EDS skin test. [Hey, is there any blood test?] Or maybe the autopsy doctors will do that type of testing anyway. Since the genetic Institute I will be going to wants to help the extended family, it will benefit my MIL to know what Bill had or did not have. That way I can persuade her to get herself tested :-D. She is a strong extremely flexible 74 year old woman. She was called the bionic woman in her family because she had so many joints replaced. Well, Bill and I did not have children. Any conception totally turned my GI to rubber. The doctors always said my pregnancies just fell out. " If I did survive the pregnancy the child would have had an amazing combination of EDSes. Or not of course. So, I can offer to the researchers information about EDSers marrying each other. It would also be good to get some info on cancer and EDS. Who knows what could have been done different. After all, we keep hearing about how fragile our collagen is. If it is too late to get skin test, I plan to rush my MIL for her test. She is a grand Mom. Her other children and grand children should be told. If they do not listen, that is okay. We tried. Caro.
