Mojo, It sounds very emotionally uplifting to me. Some friend of my parents had a civil ceremony,

because at the time, they were not of any particular religion. However, through knowing my parents,

their committment to each other, to us children, and to their community, they thought becoming

Catholics themselves would strengthen their marriage. So, they studied, petitioned the Pope for their

marriage to be blessed, and we all attended that ceremony. By then, they had four children all in

elementary school. The kids were their attendants. Very moving and beautiful. I'm so happy for

your friends, and for you that you were able to share their moment. Loving hugs, MM
