I already havetype II diabetes, and weak blood vessels from a nearly fatal kidney infection seven years ago. So, Ijust have to suffer through it. However, I also get very little sleep due to pain. The pain pills I cantolerate don't touch it, and so I spend a lot of time rocking in an old rocking chair and reading to takemy mind off it.I remember our dear used to complain a lot about the pred making her wakeful, short tempered, and made her retain water in weird places. You might see if you need to take a strongerdiuretic to take some of the fluid off your lungs. I am sorry I can't offer more help on this, but I'msure there are others in the group with more Prednisone experience.
