LFA National Magazine, Lupus Now, Features Update on Stem Cell Research-

Issue Number 2 of the Lupus Foundation of America’s 48-page national magazine, Lupus NowTM, is being distributed.The cover story features the inspiring journey of Jean , whose illness first led to the end of her career as a model and actress, but then to the beginning of her efforts to reach out to other young women and girls with lupus.

Lupus NowTM also includes an important update on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, an experimental procedure that holds promise as a lifesaving treatment for people with lupus for whom all other therapies have failed.
